Assistant Research Officer (holding the functional title of Project Manager) in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (Ref: 503802), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree or above in science related fields.   They should have at least 10 years’ project management experience in one or more sizeable international companies. They should have hands-on experience coordinating various stakeholders and departments, excellent client-facing, communication and presentation skills, good problem-solving and time-management skills, and be self-motivated and well-organized in handling project tasks. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project as well as fluency in both spoken and written Chinese and English are required.

The appointee is expected to develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress; use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs; manage relationships with multiple stakeholders; maintain comprehensive project documentation; and analyze user requirements to design and implement test plan and test cases.  He/She should be able to motivate the project team to boost productivity, and collaborate with clinicians to implement new technologies for process improvement.
