Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the DST STI Hub Funded Project in School of Mechanical Engineering (SMEC) Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT),Tamil Nadu

Qualification

Essential: M.E/ M.Tech/ M.S in Thermal Engineering, Energy Engineering or any related fields with GATE score (preferable).

Desirable:

• Sound knowledge in Chemical Reactions, Refrigeration & Air-conditioning, and Heat Transfer.
• Strong and demonstrated experience in handling experimental projects in the field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Tamil (language for better interaction with the local people)

Stipend

JRF: Rs. 31,000 + 8% HRA/ pm for a period of 2 years and
SRF: Rs. 35,000 + 24% HRA/ pm for a period of 1 year
