About the position

Student evaluations are an important input of the University’s Quality Assurance framework contributing towards the continuous improvement of learning and teaching. The Data Analyst – Learning and Teaching is responsible for overseeing the system management and administration of student evaluations and undertaking quantitative, qualitative, and descriptive data analysis of these and other learning and teaching related data.

This position is also responsible for analysing and reporting on the statistical and descriptive data for all Faculty programs and subjects and assists with learning and teaching evaluation data integration and performance within the University’s analytic and performance frameworks. Preparing written reports for Faculty Executive Deans, Senior Management and Academic Committees, as well as providing advice on evaluation strategies is an additional key component of this appointment.

About the person:

The successful applicant will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline that focuses on business analytics, statistics or technology and will have significant relevant work experience in a data driven environment.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate project management skills as well as high-level analytical, conceptual and evaluation skills in the principles and practices of qualitative and quantitative research and analysis. You will display strong stakeholder management skills and possess high level communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in a learning and teaching environment within higher education will be a distinct advantage.

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $94,051.57plus 9.5% superannuation per annum.
