Imagine working in an environment where your contribution is so far reaching that you will be changing the world - this is the reality - if you choose.

In the Engineering Design Manufacturing Centre workshop, you will be working alongside leaders in their discipline that rely on your expertise to guide them. You will achieve this by building strong partnerships and demonstrating creativity in problem solving. In this pivotal role you will be responsible for aiding students and staff in the manufacture of equipment for project, experimental and research purposes. Personally, you will be skilled in the use of a wide variety of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) manufacturing equipment and be competent using Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) packages. Ideally, you will have experience of both CNC Milling and CNC turning production. You will also be a confident communicator able to explain technical issues to those less experienced and where English may be their second language. Pitching in to solve unique experimental manufacture and design solutions will be second nature and you will always be looking to deliver effective results in the most efficient way, enhancing your customers' experience.

This is a truly immersive role that works at the very heart of our customer centric service - think you can help shape and mould the world? Then get in touch - we want to meet you.
