The Health Research Institute at the University of Canberra is a multidisciplinary research institute with a focus on public health and health services research with a strong translational focus. We are currently seeking a Professor in Public Health to take up a senior leadership appointment within the Institute and Faculty of Health.

Reporting to the Director, Health Research Institute the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to, and show significant leadership in relation to the research, innovation, and engagement activities of the Institute. A key feature of this role is the attraction of grant income as a lead chief investigator, mentoring of early and mid-career researchers and supervising PhD students.

A PhD qualification in a related field and a national and international profile in public health that is impactful and collaborative in nature is also an essential requirement.
