Southampton Business School (SBS) has an ambitious quality driven strategy, which will see us strengthen our position as a world-class Business School in research, education and enterprise. As an AMBA and AACSB accredited Business School we are seeking to recruit outstanding individuals for key research and teaching positions. The Department of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (DSIE) comprises 15 academics. DSIE members conduct world-class research and publish regularly at FT50 journals, such as Academy of Management Review, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Human Relations, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management Studies, and Research Policy.
DSIE offers an inclusive platform for interdisciplinary and impactful research and teaching in the following subject areas: social and sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation, corporate social responsibility, family business, SMEs growth and international entrepreneurship, academic entrepreneurship, digital ecosystems, innovation management, the strategy process, and the theoretical foundations of entrepreneurship and strategy research. DSIE has a vibrant community of doctoral researchers and a thriving undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) educational portfolio (i.e. MSc International Entrepreneurship and Management, MSc International Management, MSc Business Strategy and Innovation Management, MSc Digital Business, MBA/Entrepreneurship pathway, UG Business Management/Entrepreneurship pathway), which builds on the research strengths and interests of its staff.
In order to be considered for this post, you must have a PhD (or be close to completion) in Entrepreneurship or Strategy with a track record of publications at ABS 3*/4* journals. You should also demonstrate the ability to contribute to DSIE’s reputable UG and PG programmes and collaborate with other group members.
For applicants interested in a Part Time role, please note: This role is unlikely to support a Certificate of Sponsorship with a part time salary amount (a Certificate of Sponsorship is required to obtain a Skilled worker visa to work in the UK).
