(Level A) $89,610 per annum plus an employer contribution of 9.5% superannuation will apply.
The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate’s employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement

We are seeking to appoint a postdoctoral researcher working in the area of optimisation and machine learning within the Optimisation and Logistics group. The position is part of the NHMRC Ideas Grant "Optimising time use for health and wellbeing" and involves work and collaborations with researchers from health science. The successful candidate will work on optimising time usage to improve health outcomes. This involves designing machine learning and optimisation approaches based on health data.
To be successful you will need:
- PhD in Computer Science (or close to completion).
- Strong background on evolutionary computation and optimisation methods.
- Experience working with data and use of data mining tools.
- Strong programming skills and knowledge on the application of optimisation and machine learning methods.
- Commitment to the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.
