We are looking for a Research Fellow in the field of the dynamics of complex quantum systems in regimes which are currently prohibitive. The candidate will work on the neural network approaches and for which particular scenario, can do better than other state-of-the-art methods. Inspired also by recent progress in the simulation of time evolution of quantum systems with neural networks, we aim to evaluate the effectiveness of neural networks in studying the dynamics of complex quantum systems as they relax or thermalize, or to simulate the dynamics of a state in a quantum computer during a computation. The study will be theoretical with a significant numerical component in which we will also develop new algorithms.
- Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics
- A good knowledge of quantum information and condensed matter physics is preferred.
- Able to work independently and multi-task
Remuneration will commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Duration of Contract: up to 1 year (subject to funding availability and performance appraisal)
Interested applicants are invited to send a covering letter specifying their research interests and experience, their latest Curriculum Vitae (including complete list of publications/ presentations) and contacts of three references to firstname.lastname@example.org
We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
