About Education Services

Education Services focuses on the lifecycle of Cranfield University's students and all of the associated academic procedures and processes.  The department’s strategic objectives are to provide a professional and efficient service to the University's Schools which requires engagement at all levels within the Schools, and close liaison with other central service departments to provide a coherent student experience.

The Quality Assurance and Enhancement Unit within Education Services has two primary functions: to develop, embed and manage appropriate quality assurance systems and processes to ensure the proper and diligent maintenance of high academic standards; and to ensure that the University’s corporate systems are populated appropriately with the current academic portfolio and infrastructure, to ensure that other operations across the PSU can function effectively.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be joining a friendly and supportive team, committed to improving the quality of the student experience. You will be responsible for proactively managing quality assurance work relating to the specialist interpretation and validation of data and the Senate Regulations and Handbooks in order to ensure quality control of specialist academic administration.

About You

You are likely to be an experienced, self-motivated HE Coordinator, with working knowledge of University Regulations. We will consider applicants with transferable experience. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to prioritise and manage your own workload, working quickly and accurately to meet deadlines. Proven analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills are a must.

Our Values

Our shared, stated values help to define who we are and underpin everything we do: Ambition; Impact; Respect; and Community. Find out more here. We aim to create and maintain a culture in which everyone can work and study together and realise their full potential.

Diversity and Inclusion

Our equal opportunities and diversity monitoring has shown that women and minority ethnic groups are currently underrepresented within the university and so we actively encourage applications from eligible candidates from these groups.

Flexible Working

We actively consider flexible working options such as part-time, compressed or flexible hours and/or an element of homeworking, and whether a position can be carried out at any of our locations.  We commit to exploring the possibilities for each role. Find out more here.
