Senior Lecturer – Computing & Business

City University College in partnership with Ulster University, Qatar (CUC) is a new, modern and dynamic educational institution with big ambitions to become one of the leading providers of higher education and skills development in Qatar. Located in the heart of the capital, Doha, CUC currently offers a range of full- and part-time vocational and undergraduate programmes and from September 2021, will launch a new range of degree programmes including Computing Technologies and Business Analytics.

Computing, including Information Technology, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence will become a major part of the University’s academic portfolio and this presents an exciting opportunity for someone to help shape a curriculum that meets the demands of the future workforce, including Qatar’s National Vision 2030.   

You will be educated to at least Master’s level (Doctorate or PhD desirable) and have a record of research and teaching within a specialism of Computing and/or Information Technology. Ideally, you will have experience of Java, Linux and other computing technologies, with experience of using Power Bi an advantage.
