The Centre for Business Performance has been at the leading edge of developing both practice and academic insight in this field over the last 20 years and host the PMA (The performance measurement associate, the international association in the field for those in academia and practice).

Members of the Action, Implementation & Execution Group publish in leading journals and over the years have written many influential reports and books. There is a strong research ethos with a network of collaborating academics across other Universities. The vibrant doctoral programme includes both PhD and DBA candidates and our work engages us with leading practice in international companies and the public sector.

About the Role and About You

As a result of internal promotion, we are now looking for a new member to join the group and develop their academic career. Reporting to the Director, you will already have a Doctorate (Senior Lecturer) or be very close to completion (Lecturer) in the fields of performance measurement, performance management, management control of performance improvement, or equivalent.

For the Lecturer post, you must have a growing track record in teaching ideally in both graduate and executive education and you will have at least a developing portfolio with papers for submission to high-quality journals.

For the Senior Lecturer post you must have a strong track record in teaching ideally in both graduate and executive education and you will already have publications in high-quality journals.

This appointment will be on permanent basis and this academic member will be expected to contribute to our core activities including the delivery of teaching in the UK and overseas.
