Project Manager University Anniversary

(subject to personal qualification employees are remunerated according to salary group E 14 TV-L)

at the earliest possible date and until December 31, 2028 (time limitation pursuant to TzBfG).


  • Conception, management and implementation of the University anniversary project regarding all activities related to the 200th anniversary
  • Planning and coordination of scientific, cultural and societal activities and events
  • Leading the sub-project managers and cooperating with the internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining contact with external partners


  • You have an university degree in a corresponding field, preferably in science or cultural management, know-how and proven experience in the management of complex large-scale projects, and an excellent command of both German and English. Business management knowledge would be an advantage.
  • You are communicative and well-connected, and you enjoy reaching out to people and exciting them about the bicentennial. You have an integrative and resilient personality combined with strong diplomatic skills, and you enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders. You excel in creativity and initiative, and have an independent working style and a high degree of assertiveness.
  • Relevant professional experience in communications, campaign work, marketing or event management in an academic environment would be an asset.
