University College Dublin (UCD) School of Computer Science (www.ucd.ie/cs/) is Ireland's leading computer science school in terms of teaching and research. It offers taught educational programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level that attract top students from Ireland and overseas. Beijing-Dublin International College (BDIC) (www.ucd.ie/bdic/) is a joint international partnership between UCD and Beijing University of Technology (BJUT). Located on the BJUT campus in Beijing, BDIC offers students a unique opportunity to experience a world-class international education with programmes in Science, Engineering & Business. All core modules are taught through English with the majority being delivered by UCD lecturers. Students graduate with dual degrees from both UCD and BJUT. The UCD School of Computer Science currently delivers modules across three BDIC degree programmes - Software Engineering, Electronic & Information Engineering and The Internet of Things.

The UCD School of Computer Science is now seeking to recruit a Lecturer/Assistant Professor (Below the Bar/Above the Bar) to its BDIC team. The successful candidate will be expected to teach on the BDIC programmes and also contribute to the research activity in the School. Typically, the position entails teaching on the BJUT campus in Beijing for one trimester and conducting research on UCD's Belfield campus for the remaining trimesters.

95 Lecturer / Assistant Professor Below the Bar salary scale: €34,746 - €60,984 per annum
Or
95 Lecturer / Assistant Professor Above the Bar salary scale: €54,848 - €86,235 per annum

Appointments will be made on a point on the relevant scale, in accordance with the Department of Finance guideline.
