Position overview
The National Laboratory for X-ray Micro Computed Tomography at the ANU (CTLab) provides non-destructive 3D imaging services using X-ray micro-CT systems developed at ANU. CTLab supports a range of research activities for scientific and industrial partners, providing expertise in sample preparation, advanced micro-CT imaging, data analysis and visualisation. CTLab provides cutting-edge services that enables world-class research in the materials, life, geologic sciences and beyond (see ctlab.anu.edu.au).
CTLab is seeking a Technical Officer to assist with the delivery of CTLab services. The successful candidate will be working in a growing team comprising experimental and theoretical scientists, research students and engineers. The core responsibilities will include (but not be limited to); sample preparation, CT-imaging (using X-ray equipment) and managing data for a variety of clients. This will be an exciting role suited to a dynamic individual who is keen to learn new skills and contribute to a continuously evolving workplace.
