The University is 20 years old and located on world class campus only 2 hours from Muscat and Dubai. We are seeking to appoint a Vice-Chancellor with outstanding leadership skills and international academic credibility to guide the University through the next phase of its development.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS /EXPERIENCE

• Evidence of excellent leadership skills and experience Quality communication and effective teamwork skills A recognized doctorate
• Demonstrated research achievement Excellent proficiency in English
• Candidates should have at least three years of experience in an executive management position 

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

• Attractive salary plus housing and transportation allowances
• Medical insurance for the appointed person, spouse and 2 children under age of 18 years living in Oman (for non-Omani candidates)
• Three year contract renewable subject to mutual agreement between the two parties for a maximum period of 6 years
• 7 weeks paid annual leave and return air travel for spouse and 2 children under age of 18 years to country of origin
• End of contract gratuity (for non-Omani candidates)
