We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Sound and Audiovisual Media on a fractional fixed-term basis to cover teaching and research activities across the School of Design. You will deliver teaching in Sound and Audiovisual Practice across a range of programmes within the School of Design, combining theory and practice to bolster student’s abilities to critically reflect upon their creative development.

You will also undertake research activities, leading toward the development of your own proposals for externally funded research.

Candidates will have experience and knowledge of a wide range of contemporary theories and practices in audiovisual media, familiarity with professional software and hardware (Pro Tools, Reaper, Izotope RX, Adobe Audition, Premiere, After Effects, Mad Mapper, Max MSP) and experience in developing and managing their own research trajectories.
