Job Description
To support the continued growth and expansion of the Division of Cardiology’s Clinical Research Unit (CCRU), this position is responsible for assisting the Faculty Director with project development and oversight, staff management, and operational effectiveness of the unit. The candidate will assist in managing relationships between physicians, sponsors, other academic centers, CCRU staff and departmental director of fiscal operations. Specifically, candidate will assist in all operational planning relating to the research activities and ensure optimal communication across stakeholders. The Associate Director will assist with grant development, participate in facility and contractual issues and will participate in budget development and management. Responsibilities will also include developing and measuring programmatic metrics for efficient process planning and financial management for assigned projects, and will include reporting on such metrics and implementing innovative approached to further expand the unit with operationally and financially successful research collaborations and projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 5 to 7 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Master's Degree and 7 to 10 years of experience preferred.
