012998 Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Statistics and Applied Mathematics, UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics, Temporary 5 year post - Commencing 1 September 2021

University College Dublin is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Statistics/Applied Mathematics in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. This position is part of an ongoing expansion in the areas of Data and Computational Science.

UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics is committed to research and teaching across the mathematical sciences, including mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics and actuarial science.

The successful candidate will be expected to engage in research in Statistics/Applied Maths, including supervision of research students and projects, and to contribute to the School's wide-ranging programme of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. The School offers a highly successful M.Sc. in Data and Computational Science.

95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor (Above the Bar) Salary Scale: €54,848 - €86,235 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
