RESEARCH TECHNOLOGIST, Division of Comparative Medicine (DCM), to provide comprehensive technical support for a principal investigator.  Will carry out--under general supervision--experimental techniques detailed in research protocols and provide clinical assistance with animal treatments.  Duties include maintaining computerized records, recording test results, animal manipulations, monitoring animal health, laboratory bench work, and data analysis.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  a B.S. in a related field, two years of applicable experience, experience with animal handling and research and laboratory procedures, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. 

PREFERRED:  knowledge of PCR and molecular and immunologic techniques.
