SENIOR PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER, edX, to fuel a rapidly growing master’s degree segment and micromasters programs.  Will drive business impact by partnering to create growth, awareness, and enrollments and set marketing strategies to take edX experience and optimization efforts to the next level.  Responsibilities include developing strategic marketing plans, working with a team to understand and identify all target audiences and create the necessary personas to enable optimized marketing; driving awareness of master’s degrees on edX and implementing a product line/brand refresh of micromasters programs; defining and prioritizing quarterly marketing experiments and tactics for each product line to fuel success and continuously improve; craft messaging and narratives that ladder up to a cohesive cross-channel customer experience; fostering a team of portfolio experts for their product lines and helping them to analyze, drive, and communicate findings; creating strategic collateral to represent compelling product line stories to deliver against goals, using data and customer research to strengthen value propositions and impact; working cross-functionally to create solutions to drive growth of product lines; and managing a team of two product marketing managers.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  eight years’ related work experience and at least four managing direct reports; proven history of growing businesses through product marketing; situational fluency; ability to influence and motivate cross-functional stakeholders, handle challenging business situations, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and translate metrics into actions to continually improve product marketing effectiveness; self-motivation and a “can-do” approach to the work; and excellent product storytelling, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED:  MBA and experience in higher education.
