PROJECT MANAGER, School of Engineering-Antibiotics-AI Project, to lead MIT’s participation in the Antibiotics-AI Project, a sponsored research program funded through the Audacious Project at TED. Will support the program’s MIT faculty lead, Professor James Collins; act as the primary point of contact for MIT for all matters relating to project; be responsible, within MIT, for the implementation of the project; and work closely with and advise faculty leadership of the progression of the various aspects of the project. The position will require extensive coordination to ensure progression of the project within established timelines.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: a bachelor’s degree in a related field; at least three years of administration or operations experience and/or project/program management experience; demonstrated expertise relating effectively with faculty and managing relationships with senior executives in a large institutional environment; ability to work independently and as part of a team; and excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED: a Ph.D. in biological/chemical science or engineering field; experience working with industry or other non-U.S. government organization or not-for-profit within the U.S. or internationally; and a degree from, knowledge of, and experience at MIT. Job #18777-8
