Job Description

A postdoc position is available in the Theoretical Chemistry at Department of Chemistry at National University of Singapore. The project goal is to develop new methods and computational tools to describe magnetic relaxation of single-molecule magnets from the first principles.

The candidate shall have a Ph.D. and have demonstrated experience in field of theoretical & computational chemistry, should demonstrate experience with one or several quantum chemistry packages: VASP / Quantum Espresso / SIESTA / Material Studio or equivalent by publications on the topic. Experience with phonon calculations for periodic materials is a plus. Programming skill in any of the major languages (C, C++, Fortran) and scripting skills or Python are desirable.
