The Department of Industrial Systems Engineering & Management (ISEM) at NUS would like to invite applications for tenure-track positions in data science, machine learning, operations research, and related disciplines. Our department values pure methodology as well as translational work with significant applications, as evidenced by the faculty’s wide domain expertise. We are looking for candidates with the potential to build a record of excellence in both research and teaching.

Requisite is exceptional potential for leadership in research and education, an ability and willingness to teach at all levels of the program, and a PhD in operations research, statistics, computer/information science, or a related field by the start of the appointment.

Qualifications

• A PhD degree in the related area of industrial & systems engineering, with at least 1 to 2 years overseas exposure .
