Job Description
Research Associate in the area of Animals Disease Spread and Public Health in the United Arab Emirates. The position requires a dedicated researcher who will be involved in carrying out the disease spread simulations and economics with national and international research scholars. This position is part of UPAR research titled “Economics, Assessments, and Simulations for Livestock Bio-security in the United Arab Emirates”
Minimum Qualification :
Undergraduate Degree in Science, Agricultural Economics, Animal Sciences, or Epidemiology. Master Degree in Public Health from an Accredited University is a must.
Preferred Qualification
Previous participation in research as a research team member to strongly contribute to research in the area of public health or animals disease simulations. A candidate with a PhD in relevant area is strongly encouraged to apply.
Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
Basic knowledge of One-Health and Ecological Principles of Animals’ Disease Spread. Basic Skills in Data Entry, Descriptive Statistical Analysis, and strong Writing and Communications skills.
