Anglia Ruskin is a vibrant workplace and our University is gaining prominence both nationally and internationally. We have ambitious plans for the future and we are determined that our students and staff will realise their full potential. Our main campuses in the cities of Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough have been transformed with major capital investment. With an annual turnover of over £200m, we are a major force for higher education and one of the largest universities in the East of England.
About the role
The Cambridge School of Creative Industries at Anglia Ruskin University are looking to appoint a Lecturer for our BA (Hons) Drama degree. This is a teaching position, covering theatre direction, applied theatre, technical theatre and theoretically-based modules in the subject.
With a degree plus a PhD or Professional Doctorate or near completion, you will have experience within Higher Education or as practitioners within the industry.
At present, teaching is planned as blended, face to face within studio and theatre spaces and supplementary online tuition. We would ask that applicants are able to transfer to online teaching if the necessity arises during the academic year. Class sizes will be small to comply with current 2-metre social distancing requirements.
We would be happy to supply further information about the post and the School; please direct any inquires to sue.wilson@aru.ac.uk or heather.lilley@aru.ac.uk.
