Adjunct Faculty at any  professorial rank in Political Sciences and International Relations - College of Humanities and Social Sciences - Department of International Studies - Abu Dhabi Campus or Dubai Campus , starting in August 2021.

The Department/ College

The Department of International Studies, which is part of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, offers undergraduate programs in International Studies and a graduate program in Diplomacy and International Affairs (MA). 

The Opportunity

The Department of international Studies invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in Political Science or International Relations. A secondary teaching capacity in History would be an added asset. Successful candidates will be expected to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. An acceptance of an adjunct position at Zayed University does not preclude a subsequent application for a full-time position.  

The Requirements

Successful candidates are expected to fully meet the expectations for the position, which include:

• A Ph.D. in  Political Science or International Relations •A proven record of excellence at baccalaureate-level teaching..
• Record of professional accomplishment including peer-reviewed publications and/or presentation
• Demonstrated ability to integrate web-based and/or digital technology in the classroom
• Experience with graduate programs would be an asset
