Assistant Lecturer (holding the title of E-learning and Development Specialist) in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 502852) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree with extensive experience in developing and delivering higher educational courses in social sciences.  Preference will be given to those with expertise in designing and evaluating curriculum with innovative hybrid (on-line and face-to-face) teaching and learning at the undergraduate level.

The appointee will be responsible for contributing to teaching and curriculum administration primarily at the undergraduate level.  He/She will assist in the development of an integrated learning management system to manage online courses and also to enhance the development of in-house multimedia course materials to enrich the learners’ journey.  He/She will also join group focusing on enhancing the teaching and learning across different departments and units within the Faculty of Social Sciences.
