Salary in range of £33,797 - £40,322 per annum pro rata. London Allowance of £2,134 will be payable in addition to salary.

Please note it is expected that the starting salary for this post will be at the lower point however appointment at a higher point may be made for candidates who demonstrate exceptional skills and experience relevant to the role.

Applications are invited for the post of Postgraduate Student Recruitment Marketing Manager based in the Directorate of Marketing and Communications.

You will be joining an innovative Student Recruitment section, responsible for the recruitment and conversion of students within the UK and overseas at undergraduate and postgraduate taught level. As our Postgraduate Student Recruitment Marketing Manager you will be part of the Events Team, working alongside three other teams to deliver on our strategic goals.

You will coordinate the operational delivery of all postgraduate student recruitment events, as well as project managing a portfolio of marketing activities, including promotional campaigns to support specific target markets, courses, and scholarships. Alongside this, you will organise and attend a range of postgraduate recruitment fairs.

Strong organisational skills are crucial, as is outstanding attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellent events and the ability to trouble-shoot calmly throughout.

You will have significant previous experience in student recruitment marketing, as well as have a clear understanding of the UK Postgraduate Higher Education sector and the information needs of prospective students. Stakeholder engagement and relationship management will be key, you will enjoy engaging and influencing colleagues throughout the institution to ensure we deliver excellence in all our activities. You will also excel in analysis and evaluation, ensuring we are data driven and insight led. This is an excellent opportunity to pursue a management position in a Higher Education marketing career.

This is a full time 18 month contract, available from the end of January 2021.
