The University are seeking to appoint a member of staff to cover maternity leave, within the Student and Academic Support Team in the role of SAS Lead, based within the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing. The successful applicant will be joining a friendly and supportive team, committed to improving the quality of the student experience. You will be the key point of contact for students, and staff on specific courses for advice, guidance and support. Responsibilities include the delivery of academic administration, student support and ensuring high levels of customer service and student satisfaction.

You are likely to be an experienced, self-motivated HE Administrator, with a working knowledge of University Regulations, and significant experience of working in partnership with students, Professional Service Unit colleagues and academics. We will consider applicants with transferable experience. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to prioritise and manage a high volume of work, working quickly and accurately to meet tight deadlines. Proven analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills are a must.
