Job Description
Exciting Research Associate position in a funded project on “Quantification, characterization and bio-active properties of Camel milk oligosaccharides” is available for experienced researcher. As an enthusiastic early career researcher, you will join the Food Science Department at College of Food and Agriculture (UAEU). The position requires a dedicated researcher who will be involved in carrying out the research experiments related with the project, student (UG and PG) training and day-to-day maintenance of the laboratory.
Minimum Qualification
MSc/PhD in Food Science and Technology or relevant discipline
Preferred Qualification
PhD in food science and technology with extensive experience in oligosaccharides characterization, prebiotic properties, and cell line assays. Candidate with broad experience in HPLC MS/MS analysis of oligosaccharides are encouraged to apply.
Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
This position will suit a food technologist with previous research experience on " Oligosaccharides: Isolation, characterization, and functionality". Direct research experience on HPLC MS/MS analysis of oligosaccharides, hands-on experience on microbiological and advanced molecular biology techniques will be highly preferred. Excellent manuscript writing skills is also highly expected.
