Job Description Summary
The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is the oldest and one of the finest medical schools in the United States. The clinical research coordinator (CRC) will coordinate and implement research projects focused on lung transplantation. This includes screening, recruiting, consenting and enrolling participants. The CRC will also schedule study visits and collect data. The CRC will be responsible for maintaining source documents and case report forms, entering data into study databases and resolving queries. In addition, they will assist the data management team in the database development, data management, cleaning, and queries and the preparation and maintenance of IRB protocols. Adheres to all University and other regulatory guidelines.
Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The candidate should possess the ability to work independently and as a part of a team. Strong planning, organizational and prioritizing capabilities are essential. Experience with Redcap or similar electronic data capture system is preferred. The candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients both in the inpatient and outpatient hospital setting.
This position is contingent upon funding.
