Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (2 posts) in the Department of Surgery (Ref.: 502762), to commence as soon as possible for two to three years.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree. They should be outstanding and self-motivated researchers with a proven experience and research track record in the areas of molecular biology, stem cell biology and/or neuroscience.  Knowledge of cell culture and various molecular techniques (e.g. co-IP, ChIP) is essential.  Experience in human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC), neuronal cell differentiation, flow cytometry and confocal imaging analysis will be an advantage.  The appointees will join a young and dynamic research group working independently to study neurogenesis using human pluripotent stem cells and/or animal models.  Enquiries about the duties of the posts should be sent to Dr. Elly Ngan at engan@hku.hk.
