Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Assoc. Prof. Ramanathan Mahendiran on experiments and simulation under a project on Electrical detection of paramagnetic resonance.
The main responsibilities of the position include
- The candidate is expected to fabricate samples (bulk oxides and magnetic thin films) and investigate electron spin resonance or high frequency magnetization dynamics in selected materials by electrical and optical methods.
The candidate is also to set up new experiments related to the project as suggested by the PI.
Qualifications
- Qualifications / Discipline: PhD in Physics or Materials Science or Electrical Engineering
- Skills: Fabrication of magnetic continuous thin films and antidots, should worked on experiments in magnetization dynamics either by electrical or optical methods. Good writing and oral skills. Experience in Labview graphical programming and micromagnetic simulation package.
- Experience: Previous post doc experience and/or good publications in related areas in reputed journals is highly preferred.
