The Faculty of Engineering and Science offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that are widely recognised for their academic quality, innovation and close ties to the industries in which our graduates work. We aim to ensure that we equip our graduates with the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace upon graduation and throughout their professional careers.
The School of Engineering is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering. The successful candidate will take an important role in the development and delivery of teaching and research in this area. Applicants must have the potential or proven ability to develop an internationally recognised research program, excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
We are looking for applicants with experience in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering and currently, no single specialism has been identified for the proposed role. Indeed, we are wishing to invite applications from a broad range of candidates with different skill sets. However, preference will be given to candidates who possess a PhD and who combine excellence in teaching with demonstrated capacity to conduct novel, interdisciplinary engineering research that will expand and complement the School of Engineering’s research strengths.
In exceptional circumstances, there may be an opportunity to extend the post to Senior Lecturer.
Informal enquiries about the position can be made to Professor Phil Cox by email: P.W.Cox@greenwich.ac.uk
