An exciting opportunity to join an established team of statisticians, informaticians and other quantitative scientists in the Department of Biostatistics and Health Informatics at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. The department is world-renowned for developing novel methodology and applications in the field of mental health and is currently expanding by recruiting to several new posts.
The focus of this role is applying statistical methods in clinical trials and will involve working with clinical collaborators at the IoPPN and externally, and with the King’s Clinical Trials Unit and NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre. The post holder will work on a range of clinical trials in mental health funded by NIHR and UKRI.
The post holder will be expected to conduct, analyse, and report randomized controlled trials and well-planned cohort studies. This will require a good understanding of statistical methodology and proven expertise in Stata, R or equivalent software. Your contribution to both applied analysis and methodological development will be recognised through authorship on publications, including opportunities as first author.
