DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST, School of Engineering-MIT Professional Education (PE), to collaborate with colleagues, program director/s, other staff, faculty, clients, and vendors in the delivery of world class professional education programs to companies and individuals. Will work with internal MIT departments and external marketing vendors such as PR, ad agencies, and internal PE programs to increase productive program collaborations. The main responsibilities will include developing targeted digital content and implementing a digital communications strategy, working with media agency to traffic digital ads and messages for conversions, analyzing trends and reports, and managing content for digital platforms.
MIT Professional Education (PE) offers a suite of education programs and products to serve the continuing educational needs of science and engineering professionals globally.
REQUIRED: a B.A./B.S.; at least five years of digital marketing experience, preferably in a corporate setting; in-depth knowledge of marketing, web, social media, SEO, and paid campaigns; demonstrated ability to build productive and collaborative working relationships with individuals at all levels, including senior officers; experience developing effective key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns; ability to work effectively in a pressured fast-moving environment; excellent organizational, interpersonal, customer service, editing, presentation, and oral and written communication skills; good judgment with confidential information; and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Drupal, Salesforce and Salesforce Pardot, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), web content management systems, project management software, social media management software, HTML, SEO, and Google Analytics.
