Job Details
Energy Research Institute @ NTU invites applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of an power electronics vertical line for energy applications
- Projects expertise in engineering test-rigs / test-beds / for micro-grids, energy storage and other RE integration applications
- Strong domain knowledge and know-how of electrical engineering from Micro-electronics to Power electronics and its integration
- Develops power electronic and advance power devices technology landscape and roadmap for energy industry
- In depth understanding and experience in innovation management practises, including market research, technology landscaping and scouting, business model analysis, concept generation, prototyping and go to market strategies
- Drives SME & Startups to develop novel innovative solutions for renewable integration, energy storage, digital twin and data based optimization platform
Job Requirements:
- PhD degree in electrical or electronics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of energy, IOT and working with large organization
- Know-How on Power Devices, Energy IOT Application and RE Intregration
- In depth understanding and experience in energy start, including market research, technology landscaping and scouting, business model analysis, concept generation, prototyping and go to market strategies
- Experience in implementation of energy platform technologies
- Strong technology commercialization expert
- Skills Sets Preferred: PowerSIM, LabVIEW, Matlab, Simulink, & understanding of the Cloud ecosystem, dashboard development with APIs, Networks & Hardware Integrations

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:

• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
