A Research Fellow position is available at the School of Computer Science (SCSE) and Engineering for development of machine learning techniques for multi-omics data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
The Research Fellow (RF) is to develop a holistic approach for integrating multi-omics data, such as genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and epigenomics data by explicitly considering interactions between molecular layers and with novel analyses for multilayer molecular networks for investigation of cancer and allergy.
The RF will develop techniques and tools to integrate multilayer molecular networks, predict clinical measures, and identify biomarkers of the diseases.
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Machine Learning or Bioinformatics
- Experience in machine learning/computational biology and skills in Python/R programming
