Library Services provides a dedicated, professional and responsive service across the three campuses of City, University of London. Our collections of print and online resources support the teaching and research activities of the institution. Our printed collections consist of around 250,000 books with over 25,000 online journals and over 1600 study spaces available in our libraries.

The successful candidate will liaise and develop contacts within the Business School in relation to promoting and to gathering feedback on Library Services. They will participate with ongoing collection management and development including monitoring and evaluating business resources to support students on academic programmes. They will represent Library Services at relevant meetings.

The successful candidate will inform and assist in projects undertaken by Library Services, will be involved with induction of both staff and students, and will contribute to developing, delivering and evaluating Digital and Information Literacy programmes for students and staff.

Person Specification
The successful candidate will have a CILIP accredited qualification in librarianship or information management, or equivalent experience in a library role. They will have knowledge of business resources and research skills, excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to plan and undertake a range of tasks and manage thier workload effectively. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and customer service experience that enables them to interact with library users, colleagues, academic staff, researchers and other stakeholders inside and outside the university.
