Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Aeronautics Research and Development Board (AR & DB) funded research project (ARDB/01/1051968/M/I), School of Mechanical Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Tamil Nadu

Title of the Project

“Non-linear Dynamic Characterization of Multi-functional CNT Reinforced Honeycomb Hybrid Tapered Composite Sandwich Plates under Thermal Environment”

Qualification

Essential: M.E/M.Tech with specialization related to engineering design, CAD/CAM and good academic record.

Desirable: Knowledge in Mechanics of Composite Materials, Vibration, Finite element analysis, MATLAB.

The candidate should be willing to register for Ph.D. at VIT.

Stipend

Rs. 31,000/-per month +10% HRA during two years, for the candidates who have qualified GATE/NET, else as per institute norms for these two years
