Project Officer

As a part of the SJ-NTU Corporate Lab, we are looking for an experienced Project Officer with strong background in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and numerical analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the SJ-Corporate lab-scale setup
• Prepare and provide detailed design of new, bench and pilot scale laboratory equipment
• Manage laboratory operations, maintenance, logistics, inventory data records, staff training and development
• Promote, implement and maintain workplace safety and laboratory safety
• Develop, maintain and review safety policies, guidelines and procedures
• Help and supervise the procurement of parts, safety compliance of equipment, systems according to Singapore code of practice
• Assist in budgeting and lab procurement activities / process in the form of sourcing for quotations, reviewing specification requirements, and raising purchase requisitions for Small Value Purchase (SVP), Invitation-To-Quote (ITQ), and Invitation-To-Tender (ITT) in NTU procurement platform
• Assist to perform Goods Receipt (GR) after the delivery of goods and services are completed
• Assist in fixed assets tagging and audit verification as and when it is required
• Willing to be part of FSA team (training to be provided by NTU)
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the project PI / supervisors

Job Requirements:

• Candidates with any BEng Degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Hands-on Engineering experience
• Experience in operating in R&D environment
• Experience to be part of research team in an academic institutions
• Strong communication skill and ability to work in a diverse, international and cross disciplinary research and development environment
• Experience in handling procurement and goods receipt
