USC is one of Australia’s fastest-growing universities, experiencing exponential growth in student population and consistent five-star ratings for teaching quality in the Good Universities Guide. USC is committed to providing a high-quality educational experience to our students, delivering innovative research with real impact, as well as engaging with the community and contributing to the aspirations of our local regions.

USC SUNSHINE COAST

USC’s Sunshine Coast campus is the university’s flagship campus – a modern, award winning campus set on 100 hectares of flora and fauna reserve and featuring some of Australia’s most innovative learning and visualisation facilities. Founded in 1996 in the belief that opportunity is everywhere and especially in regional Queensland. In just over 20 years USC has helped unlock the innovation, productivity and potential of its regional communities. It’s impact and vision is clear - we have planned our growth in response to our region’s needs to obtain and improve knowledge, skills and resources and to effect social change. This regional focus has now expanded well beyond the original Sunshine Coast campus to encompass the regions between Moreton Bay and the Fraser Coast and we now have just over 18,000 students.

USC is all about opportunity. Whether it’ practical work experience or the chance to pursue your passion, to connect with your community, USC offers you opportunities, everywhere.

No matter what kind of future you’re looking for, you can find it at USC.

WHY WORK AT USC?

USC is a university founded by our community, based on the belief that opportunity is everywhere.

We’re a young ambitious university, not limited by tradition or old ways of thinking.

With annual growth in enrolments exceeding targets and research rated as exceeding world standard in many fields, we are an exciting, vibrant organisation.

We are committed to – and ambitious for – our regions. We want to make our region a better place. With campuses at Sippy Downs, Gympie, Fraser Coast, Caboolture, and Moreton Bay, our footprint extends the entire Sunshine Coast corridor.

We are consistently rated one of the best universities in Australia for teaching quality and overall student experience. This is because every student matters to us.

We embrace innovative blended learning delivery that mixes face-to-face and online modes. This enables flexible work arrangements where you have the ability to work on or off campus as needed.

We are a university with plans to grow - you can grow with us and we can provide academic leadership programs to help you get there.

You can work with collaborative Heads of School who celebrate your teaching and support your research.

We are revamping the provision of our academic services to provide centralised and increased support for your teaching, research and HDR administration – so you can focus on what you really want to do!

We have campuses in amazing locations.

Come join our team of world class academics and make a contribution to the education of our community while also building and extending your career in this fresh environment.

We see opportunity everywhere. If you see it in yourself, come work with us.
