Energy Research Institute @ NTU invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer research project grants and expenditure
  • Work closely with Project PIs, Finance team and funding agency on grant claims, progress report submission and preparation of budget projection
  • Track and monitor all project milestones and work closely with PIs by assisting in collating information for timely submission of all progress and final reports
  • Put up purchase request of supported equipment and OOE, organise tender evaluations, handle claims and payments
  • Put up hiring forms for recruitment of researchers and negotiate salary package for successful candidates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in any discipline
  • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
