Project Officer

Job Details

School of Computer Science and Engineering is looking for a candidate to join them as a Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the setting- up of databases
  • Develop 3D point cloud compression system
  • Submission of a comprehensive report and papers/patents based upon the research.

Requirements:

  • Applicants should have a Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline (electronic engineering, telecommunications engineering, computer engineering, applied mathematics, etc) and have an excellent research profile. 
  • The candidate will work on related to 3D point cloud processing and compression, computer vision, and image processing, with good research track record. He or she also needs to good technical reading, writing and programming skills.

About Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF)

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
