About the opportunity 

As the Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will be working in the Brain and Mind Centre with senior Academic staff who all share a passion for the research that is being undertaken. You will be using human MRI and EEG techniques to explore brain changes associated with chronic pain and the effects of cannabidiol. This is a fantastic role that will work in partnership with the Neural Imaging Laboratory and the Lambert Initiative for cannabinoid therapeutics.

You will be responsible for and experienced in MRI or EEG collection and analysis and will be responsible for data collection and analysis. Additionally, you will be responsible for MRI scanning, including confirming appointments, ensuring that consent forms and other compulsory documents are attained and payments are made. You will be working closely with participants so a personable approach and will needed.

has experience working with MRI, EEG and the systems SPM or FSL that work alongside it has as relevant PhD and experience within brain imaging is a team player and has the ability to work with likeminded academics in an aspiring setting is confident and accurate when working with participants data has strong organizational skills to ensure the smooth day to day running of clinical trials and data analysis has worked within a similar setting and is able to ensure the upkeep of consumables and accounts.
