The Emotional Development, Intervention and Treatment (EDIT) lab, SGDP Centre, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King’s College London (KCL), conducts research into the role of genetic, psychological and environment predictors of both the development and treatment of anxiety and depression. The group is led by Prof Thalia Eley, and consist of around 20 graduate, post-graduate and post-doctoral researchers.
The role will involve supporting a new research project funded by the Wellcome Trust, which investigates the degree to which App-assessed fear extinction predicts response to CBT for anxiety. The study will also explore whether several other relevant psychological biases influence treatment outcome.
The postholder will be based in the EDIT Lab at the SGDP Centre, IoPPN, King's College London and will be responsible for the recruitment, screening and App assessment of participants under the supervision of Professors Thalia Eley, Gerome Breen and Dr Colette Hirsch. They will also liaise with our partners IESO Health who will deliver CBT treatment.
The EDITlab strives to be a diverse research environment, that is open and welcoming to all.
