Position overview

Photovoltaics is a booming, $400 billion/year industry that is rapidly transforming the global energy landscape. It plays a pivotal role in reducing global greenhouse gas emissions and lowering electricity prices.

ANU conducts research on new materials and technology to continue to drive down the cost of photovoltaics and develop new applications. Perovskite technology holds tremendous potential for photovoltaic applications and offers many opportunities for innovative research and technology development.

ANU researchers are on the leading edge of research in this field and have made numerous significant contributions, including the demonstration of world record efficiencies for silicon-perovskite tandem devices.

We are seeking up to three (3) Research Fellows to contribute to research in photovoltaics, specifically perovskite and perovskite/silicon tandem technology. Applications are particularly invited from researchers whose expertise is in the areas of materials science, semiconductor physics and devices, chemistry or related disciplines.

Funding for these positions is available for a maximum of two (2) years.
