Delta-NTU Corporate Lab invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop multi-agent control and optimization methods for multi-robot collaboration that may advance smart manufacturing
  • Conduct simulation and/or experimental assessment of the developed algorithms and methods
  • Write the research results into publication manuscripts and project reports
  • Contribute to project reporting and demonstration

Job Requirements:

  • Possess PhD in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines
  • Experience in multi-agent systems, distributed control and optimization, or multi-robot systems
  • Experience in control and optimization, or robotics
  • Minimum of 1 first-author publication in top-tier journals in related areas
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent teamwork awareness
  • Good communication and writing in English
  • Strong responsibility for research and work

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
