Overview

Are you seeking an opportunity for a short-term contract in a dynamic and forward-thinking School of Nursing and Midwifery? If so, we are currently seeking an experienced registered nurse with a passion for nursing and its future, to join our innovative and energetic team on our Joondalup Campus located in Perth, for a six-month period. This is an exciting opportunity to experience working in a team of nurse educators who are shaping our future nursing workforce within our undergraduate programs.

The School of Nursing and Midwifery is at the cutting-edge of nurse education and research. We deliver the largest undergraduate nursing program in Western Australia, as well as a comprehensive range of postgraduate programs of study. The School of Nursing and Midwifery also produces research at a level exceeding world standard through our well-established and growing Centre for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Services Research.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a sound professional and academic track record in nursing, hold a postgraduate qualification at master’s level or higher, and demonstrate education and research experience within a tertiary or practice education setting. Formal mentorship will be provided to the successful applicant.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full-time, fixed term position attracts a salary of either $72,650 to $97,389 pa (ALEVA) OR $102,253 to $120,814 (ALEVB), plus 9.5% University superannuation contribution.
