Post Graduate: Professional Doctorate in Education:
Lecturer - £22,810 per annum, based on full time salary £38,017 per annum
Hours: 21.6 hours per week (0.6 FTE)
Senior Lecturer - £25,675 per annum, based on full time salary £42,792 per annum
Hours 21.6 hours per week (0.6 FTE)
Hours: Part time, or for a suitably qualified candidate these two posts could be combined as a full-time post

We are now looking to appoint a 0.4FTE Post Graduate Lecturer: MA Education, and a 0.6FTE Post Graduate Lecturer: Professional Doctorate in Education. These posts could be shared by two different people or offered as a combined full-time post to a suitable candidate.
As a Lecturer, you will work with experienced colleagues to prepare and deliver Masters in Education, and Professional Doctorate in Education content in line with the programme level requirements for teaching at Level 7 and Level 8. The role includes an ability to teach both online and face to face and be willing to teach in the evenings and on Saturdays. You will be working as part of a team of lecturers and be able to offer expertise in a field of educational research that is relevant to teaching in school-based settings. Qualified Teacher Status and recent experience
of successful Post Graduate teaching and supervision in education are essential for the two posts. St Mary’s Institute of Education is committed to supporting staff to develop scholarly and research in their own area of interest.
